After graduating from Wesleyan and Yale, Rev. Alan Scott taught school at various levels, was a Hospice chaplain, and was then pastor of the Flanders Baptist & Community Church for 33 years. He has been preaching summers at the Grassy Hill Congregational Church since 1992.

Rick Lacey, current president of Grassy Hill Congregational Church, was born in Colorado and has been a resident of Lyme for over 25 years. Rick has been a faithful follower of Christ from the age of 27. He stepped into the role of president several years ago and is honored to serve the Grassy Hill Congregational Church community.
